went to querim beach aka keri beach today , the last one before you cross to maharashtra . its less frequented by the mass of tourists , but does seem to grow with slightly more people each year . there are a few shacks on the south end , while the north end you have nothing but the trees leading to the tiracol [aka kiranpani] briodge area . search KERI for more entries here from previous visits .
this is the new tiracol bridge first opened a couple of years back , it really shortens the distance to the next coastal stretch northwards . they built and expensive huge bridge and left a few oil drums for a roundabout – classic indian design haha
keri beach . the waves can be quite fierce at times , you have to have your wits about you . this indian guy was loving it 😉
fake cow on the beach to watch out for the fishermen maybe
adjacent to the beach there is a temple , with huge head and elephant statues erected in 2014 .
a russian couple had decided to get married and photo opportunities here today . looked like a pitbull video 😉 we said congratulations and best of luck to them
heres some more keri sights – signs , arches , banyan trees
just arrived back to anjuna in perfect time to stop on the chapora river bridge for sunset
then turned right at siolim junction , passed club kolbassa [outdoor trance club] ,
jai ganesh juice bar for juice and corn in chapora ,
then on to noronhas cart at anjuna roundabout for some snacks and some bhel puri
later on went for some drinks at nyex but it was closed so did guru bar anjuna instead
