on a ‘no food diet’ again , and no alcohol drink either . quite depressing really not being able to join in . still plenty to keep you occupied , like always knowing where your nearest toilet is haha . did anjuna market , mrs got her fav thing here , a dal .
food is excellent here , great low cost street food . ‘olive’ puts on an excellent spread as usual . greek / turkish / med cusine . you get a huge plate of food from this place that is based in chapora .
been 48 hours since the start of illness and no food , and not having been to the toilet for a few hours i was feeling hungry [and brave] , so went for food at ‘hendrix’ in anjuna . looks clean and well run . went for ribs and potatoes , nothing too spicy . they had some awkward 70s sounding cruise ship duo on that the table of several pensioners loved . it looks and feels like a rock bar outside and was expecting different music from the live bands they feature regularly , but when you get in it really isnt like that . its confusing . however its spotlessly clean and professional and the waiters are excellent . primarily its a grill menu .
