breakfast at moon star anjuna today . had an indian classic … toast came out with mold down the side of the bread . when we pulled the waiter over to show and ask for fresh stuff he declared it was ” oh sorry sir , grey salt” !!! ha ha awesome πŸ˜‰

after here we where going out for the day so we got an early shout for some samosa to go from geetesh hotel . its great street food from anjuna baskin robbins junction . all the locals eat there . cheap as chips and twice as tasty .

from here it was on the moped for a 20 minute or so drive to ashvem to the funky sunset ashram lounge and club . its fairly pricey for inida and 200R for a beer , but they had a special on today , 2 for 1 beers if you bought a bucket (1200R for 12) , and we had the whole club to ourselves with it being end of season . also got some food like pizza 400R . its a club too sometimes with DJ’s on and open till 10pm , but today was just chill music all day until dark then bit of chilled deep house for the last few hours .

Thanks a lot!!!! I have been goa 5 times but never visited anjuna/vagator/arambol at night, we used to go mostly in day, as the road were deserted. We just partied in calangute and baga. After reading your blog, I have decided not to spend much time in calangute//Baga. This time we will explore only anjuna/vagator/Aramabol.

    Thanks a lot!!!

First i must say this is a wonderfull blog, very detailed and informative. I got to know a lot of places through this blog. I am also visiting goa in october and will stay in candolim, I just had 1 doubt, is it safe to travel by 2 wheeler for a couple in night from arambol or anjuna to candolim as the ways is litttle deserted?? usually i am planning to leave by 1 or 2 am.

yes its safe at night no worries there , but just drive slow and be aware of animals , especially brown cows and the like you cannot see . i did same type journey a few nights a week and most days . thats arambol , and takes about 30 minutes take a gps unit or n adroid phone with free sat nav programme for goa and india [no data charges] , learn the route and ask people on the way , or take a map . there are some signs too its not a bad journey at all .

however anjuna is a walk in the park from where you are , its only next to baga which is almost next to candolim so that is really easy for you like 10/15 minutes or so

have fun [shouldnt be too hard in goa!]
